In this class, you will discover the magic and versatility of what you can achieve when cooking on the barbecue.

You will master how to keep the meat moist, tender and delectable, through the process.

Nellie will expertly teach barbecue technique and timing, so you will leave with the confidence to replicate all that is covered in class back in your own home. We will also highlight & teach you the importance of additional flavours and how to best apply these — whether through rubs, marinades, mop sauces or salsas.

This is a fabulous barbecue cooking class not to be missed and will step all guests barbecuing up one HUGE notch as well as be dazzled by the wonderful world of smoking.

On the menu are many fantastic BBQ entrées through to main dishes, sides and salads.

Below is a great example of the dishes which will be taught and enjoyed in class, and these can be cooked all year round.

This class is approx 4 hours in duration, and as well as the class, our guests will be treated to a plentiful barbecue feast and a glass of wine.

  • Quick & easy chicken and halloumi sausages
  • Barbecue king prawns with Nellie’s spice rub (great for fish & chicken too)
  • Dukkah crusted lamb cutlets with pomegranate molasses
  • Glorious cedar planked salmon
  • Smoked lamb riblet’s with a sensational homemade barbecue sauce – cooked in our Primo grill.
  • Hickory-smoked beer butt chook – cooked in our Primo grill
  • Aged rib eyes with house-made chimichurri and lemon (reverse sear cooking method taught)
  • How to cook the perfect steak every time
  • Barbecue spicy Mexican corn
  • As well as a couple of our favourite salads to enjoy at your next barbecue soiree.

Please note that this barbecue cooking class is also available for private groups of 8 or more (including Corporate groups).  We can reserve a mutually agreed date & time. Contact us to discuss further.

In this class, Weber Genesis hooded gas barbecue is used for cooking and our charcoal Primo grill.
