ABOUT THE BOOK

Relish Mama is a celebration of honest, everyday cooking, as shared by Nellie Kerrison in this much awaited debut cookbook. Every page has meaning and each recipe is a treasure trove of the food Nellie loves most to share with family, friends and through her acclaimed cooking school. What started as a little dream of teaching people to cook, to share her passion and knowledge with others and her warm and generous style of entertaining has grown into a beautifully written and photographed cook book. With recipes for every occasion, you will relish this book and feel the love on each and every page of this stunning debut cookbook.

From Nellie :

“I want you to cook these recipes again and again. I want you to fall in love with them. I want you to share them. These are my favourites because they all have a story and a memory. Share them at your table, at your kitchen bench, on your back lawn for it is with those that you share where the magic truly begins!”

Cookbook available November 19 and can be purchased online at www.relishmama.com.au or at selected stockists.

  1. Hi there,

I backed this book on whichever crowdfunding you used (I back too many things and struggle to remember which ones have the project I’m interested in). I think it’s a great book, with so many awesome recipes, let down by editing. I’m sure the second edition will be awesome and all the issues will be fixed.

So you know, on page 93, you have (on page xxx) and (page xxx) in a recipe, and on page 172, in your Freekah and lentil salad (which is completely amazing and I want to cook it again and again), you don’t mention how much cumin seed should be used – it’s completely missing from the ingredients.

I’ll definitely be following you and your blog, and look forward to seeing what else you have – so much tasty food, so little time 🙂

    1. Thanks so much for the feedback Rebecca. I am delighted you love the book & the recipes but yes, you are right, the biggest editing error is the page you point out which low & behold, is my favourite recipe in the whole book!!! Karma ? I have had gorgeous feedback from many including the amazing published authors in my life who say “hey, if that is your main error, that is sincerely nothing”. Of course, it would be pretty wonderful if the book to be 100% perfect but a beautiful thing through this is that we, as humans are not perfect and can miss and over look things no matter how hard we try. Bring on revision 2 hey! Thank you for the support. x
