“Vietnam has captured my heart”

From the vibrant energy of the streets and markets to the warmth and generosity of the people we meet along the way, Vietnam is a place that stays with you.

I created this tour to share Vietnam with you through its food, culture and everyday moments — not simply as a visitor, but through meaningful local experiences.

Together, we’ll cook, eat, explore and discover a country rich in flavour, history and connection. This is more than a trip. It’s a journey you’ll remember long after you return home.

Wondering if this tour is for you?

I often hear: “I’ve never done a group tour before.” Or the quieter worry: “Will I know anyone? Will we all get along?”

Here’s what I’ve seen time and again. The people who join these journeys are thoughtful, curious, and open. Some come in pairs. Many come solo. But everyone comes for the same reasons: connection, beautiful food, shared experiences, and a little space to breathe again.

These are not packaged tours. They’re small, personal, and built with care. I travel with you, I host the journey, and I’ve watched strangers become friends over meals more times than I can count.

If Morocco has been on your mind for 2027 and you’re wondering if it’s for you — I hope this helps.

You’d be so welcome. You’d be in the best of company.

If you’re travelling with a friend, you can of course share a twin room together. Either way, you’ll be part of a warm and welcoming group. Please note – we do not match make for room shares. If you wish to share a room, please book with a partner or friend. Single supplements available for solo travellers and those wanting their own rooms.

Australian passport holders require an appropriate visa to enter Vietnam. Eligible travellers may apply online for a Vietnam e-Visa before departure.

Guests are responsible for ensuring the granted visa matches their individual travel arrangements and that all details match their passport exactly. We recommend carrying a printed copy of the visa approval document when travelling.

Entry and visa requirements can change, so guests should check current Vietnamese Government and Smartraveller advice before departure.

July is a warm and tropical time to explore Vietnam, with weather varying across the different regions of the journey. Hanoi and Ha Long Bay are typically hot and humid, with a mix of sunshine and tropical showers, while Hue and Hoi An generally experience plenty of warm, sunny weather. Expect hot days, warm evenings and occasional rain along the way, so light, breathable clothing and a compact umbrella or rain jacket are recommended.

A deposit of $2,000 AUD per person is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the tour. The final balance is due by 11 April 2027 and will be invoiced in mid-March 2027.

Cancellations are subject to a $2,000 AUD per person cancellation fee, plus any charges imposed by suppliers. Cancellations after final payment may result in up to 100% of the tour cost being forfeited.

If the minimum number of guests is not met, the tour will be cancelled and all deposits refunded.

Please see our full Terms & Conditions for details. We strongly recommend travel insurance to give you peace of mind.

Travel insurance is COMPULSORY and should be arranged when you pay your deposit for this tour. At a minimum, your policy must cover medical expenses, including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend a comprehensive policy that also includes personal liability, cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage or personal effects.
