A new chapter in our lives – Relish Mama relocation

I am doing a beautiful Yoga course at the moment. I get up very early, and it is just me & Ned (our beautiful dog) & my lovely & wise instructor. In practice yesterday morning, the focus was ‘the quality of our actions = the quality of our lives. She asked us to observe different actions throughout the day then & check in whether we could bring more quality to it. It could be our breath or the way we listen to someone else who is talking. It has been a beautiful lesson.

It was glorious to bring this intention to my last class taught here in the physical space at Relish Mama last night. If you haven’t caught up on this news, you can view a small announcement I made later last year here.

Last night, I relished the beautiful joy, connection, and togetherness that food brings to us all. There were hugs, tears, and family. I am so very grateful to all of the people who have been a part of the most incredible life memories I have of this space. It is the people and the warmth that create a space, so I thank you with all of my heart.

Thanks to this beautiful business, I have made very special friendships. Many I have shared a table with, and some I have been fortunate enough to travel with on our tours. I have had a dream team of incredible women to work with side by side. I feel so very lucky.

My family came up at the end of last night’s class, which was the very best. Ettie was only two years old when this all began, and Relish Mama is such a huge part of us as a family. This photo (above) was taken by Jane last night. Jane is another loved team member.

Grace also wrote me a note. With her permission, I have shared it with you below. I shed a lovely tear or two reading it. She is right – our space was lovely, and I am so proud of what we created, but the heart of the business beats strong no matter where we are.

We will continue to run cooking classes. Most will be held still in this Bayside area in Melbourne.

Our cooking club will remain and grow. I adore this wonderful online cooking club and our community.

Our wonderful food & wine tours will also stay & they will grow.

The warmth and love you have hopefully felt with us will always be. I hope you can stay with us and be a part of the magic of the future here.

We will now be very busy with the final packing up of the space. How daunting. Good to have a deadline though right.
