1 Cooking bowl
1 Barbecue or frying pan
- 500 g chicken mince
- 100 g grated haloumi
- 2 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley or sage
- 1 egg
- 50 g dried breadcrumbs or panko crumbs use gluten-free breadcrumbs if required
- 8 slices of prosciutto or Spanish Jamon
Place chicken mince in a bowl. Add the grated halloumi, chopped herbs, egg and dried breadcrumbs. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Mix, to combine.
Shape & make into 8 sausage shapes.
Wrap each sausage with a prosciutto slice.
Heat the barbecue grill until hot. Cook the sausages for 4–5 minutes on each side and serve.
Serve with Relish Mama tomato relish or Relish Mama beetroot & balsamic relish.
If you don't have a barbecue, these can be cooked in a frying pan with great success.
