Kids & Teens School Holiday Cooking Class – Mexican Fiesta 

Class date & time for Kids & Teens School Holiday Cooking Class – Mexican Fiesta is the 16th of January 2026 at 10:30 am-1 pm. 

Learning to cook is one of the most valuable life skills of all.

In this hands-on and super fun cooking class, children will discover the colourful and delicious flavours of Mexico! They’ll make everything from scratch and enjoy a menu that’s perfect for sharing with the whole family at home.

This class is a celebration of fresh ingredients, exciting tastes and a whole lot of food joy.

On the menu for this hands-on Mexican Cooking Class for Kids & Teens.

Menu:

• Homemade corn tortillas

• Mild chicken quesadillas or Mexican-style bean quesadillas (as an alternate vegetarian option)

• Fresh tomato salsa

• Guacamole, the traditional way

• Churro bites (oven baked, cinnamon sugar dusted)

A Mexican meal is included in the cost of this special day.

Please advise in the comments section of the booking if your child would prefer the vegetarian or meat-based menu.

Things of note:

• Students may participate in a one-off/single class or join our other school holiday Kids & teens cooking classes for additional fun & learning.
• This kids & teens school holiday cooking class – Mexican fiesta are suitable ages are 7-16 years of age. We can group children with their age group and of course, if they come with a friend, they will work together / stay together. 
• These cooking classes are a hands-on cooking experience in a very supportive and inclusive learning enviroment.
• There is a maximum of eight children in this session. We do encourage you to book early.
• The class is held in Sandringham (3191) & exact address emailed to those with a confirmed booking a week prior to the class.
• Children are welcome to bring their own apron, and we encourage them to bring their own drink bottle.
• Recipes are emailed after the class so the students can continue to enjoy their new recipes & skills at home.
