How do I book and pay for a cooking class with Relish Mama?
All cooking class bookings can be made, with ease, via our website. Simply click on the class of your choice, register your details and your payment can then be made via the secure ‘Pay now’ link that is displayed down the bottom of the following screen once you have registered & confirmed your booking. Payment is due when booking is made. In the unlikely event you strike some difficulty when booking your place, please don’t hesitate to call or email us your booking request and we will gladly assist you.
PayPal, Cash, Cheque, Credit card (excluding Amex & Diners) and Direct deposit payment methods are all accepted. Credit card is accepted (excluding Amex & Diners) for manually assisted bookings but please note that a 3.5% surcharge is added to Invoice total.
Cancellation and transfer policy:
Please be aware that classes and gift vouchers are non refundable.
Cancellations received more than 14+ days of your booked class are entitled to reschedule in to another class. A refund will not be given. Cancellations made 14 days & less of class date are non refundable and non transferable.
Want to send someone in your place? Absolutely no problem – just let us know your friends name and contact details by either email or phoning through the details.
If, due to extreme and unforeseen circumstances, you cannot attend your class and you are within 14 days of class date, a $50 cancellation fee applies and is not negotiable. We are sure you appreciate the high cost of running the classes, purchases already made and the fact that seats cannot then be on-sold.
If you cancel a class that has been booked through redemption of a gift voucher, the same terms and conditions as above will apply.
It is extremely unlikely however in the unlikely event that a class is cancelled or re scheduled by Relish Mama, a future class date will be offered or a refund can be arranged.
How do I know if my place in the class is confirmed?
All reservations are deemed confirmed once payment is received in full. You will also receive a confirmation email. Class reservations must be paid for at time of booking your place but please feel free to contact us, if you need a special allowance (eg. you do not get paid for another 3 days) and we will do our best to assist. You do still need to register for the class.
Can I bring a friend to watch?
Sorry but no. Only confirmed guests that have paid for a place in a class may attend. You are most welcome to come with a friend or partner with you however they will need to register and pay for their place in the class.
What about dietary requirements?
We do our very best to accommodate certain dietary requirements however it is sometimes not possible with every dish within a particular class but again, so long as we know in advance, we do our very best. Please email any dietary restrictions to us at the time of your booking and well in advance of your class date.
How do I redeem a gift voucher?
We are presently working on accepting gift vouchers as a method of payment for our cooking classes but in the interim, please still register for your class via our website and then email us your gift voucher and booking details and we will happily apply your gift voucher as payment for your booking.
How do I purchase a gift voucher?
Gift vouchers are available for purchase via the link on our website. You do need to enter the unique code and pay for the voucher in order for it to be valid. In the unlikely event you strike some difficulty when purchasing a gift voucher, please don’t hesitate to call or email us (during standard business hours) and we will gladly assist you.
Do you provide recipes to take home?
Yes, we most certainly do.
Do I need to bring anything to a class?
No need as aprons, pens, ingredients and all utensils are provided. There is no need for you to bring anything.
All dishes cooked during class are also enjoyed during class and a glass of wine is also included (for guests 18 years and over).
Can I bring a camera to the class?
You are welcome to bring a camera however video is not permitted. We request that you use discretion and consider other participants privacy if taking photographs. Relish Mama reserves the right to revoke this permission at any time during a class, without notice and at it’s sole discretion. Please be considerate of other areas within the large room which may be of a more personal nature and are not related to the cooking class and therefore do not need to be photographed. We appreciate your consideration with this.
Do you teach children’s cooking classes?
We do and we love to! Unless otherwise committed, we run a select few cooking classes for children every school holidays and on occasion, on a Saturday once or twice during term. Check out calendar or timetables & bookings pages for more details.
What do I wear to Relish Mama cooking class?
Please wear appropriate and comfortable clothing with closed shoes.
Do you have a mailing list?
We sure do and this is a great way to be kept up to date about new classes, special events, recipes and much more. You can join by entering your details at the bottom of the menu bar / links bar on each page of the Relish Mama website.
Do you have a FaceBook page?
